About Us

Swan River Gardens is located at 175 Swan River Road in Bigfork, Montana in the big red barn building just off Highway 83.  Look for our sign at the corner and turn to the south.   Tamus & Lisa Gannon have owned the complete retail and wholesale nursery/greenhouse operation since 1998.  We grow and sell annuals, perennials, shrubs & trees plus all the necessary hard goods such as chemicals and mulches.  Swan River Gardens is the Flathead Valley’s premiere source for native plant material with many kinds and sizes available throughout the season.   We also grow thousands of hardy perennials that are customer favorites.  Visit What We Grow on our home page to find plants and materials for small or large jobs!

The Swan River Gardens Gift Shop offers pottery and other gift items for gardens and gardeners.   We attend the premier gift shows in the nation each year to bring in the newest and most exciting products for our customers.   You can see photos of popular items under the Gifts & Pottery heading on our home page.

Our official opening date is April 1st each year but you can find us working on planting as early as February 1st and we are always happy to help you. You will find our hours on our Home Page as they change throughout the season.  We are typically open through the end of October each year and then open again for a short Christmas season when we sell handmade wreaths, centerpieces & garland.

Our Swan Bucks Program is a reward program for customers that is very popular and helps our good customers to save money each season.  Be sure to collect Swan Bucks when you visit Swan River Gardens.  Look for more information under the Swan Bucks tab on our home page.
